Metal Sub-genres

First off let me say I am sorry for not having posted for a while, life has been hectic, but when is it not :). Anyways there are many Sub-Genres of most music. This post I will be talking about Metal. There are many types of metal, some are death, black, speed/thrash, doom, grindcore, hardcore, Nu metal, industrial, groove, glam, post-metal, power, sludge, and drone metal. There are many more which I will post later. I will also go into greater detail later, for now i am tired and need to get some sleep. TTYL everyone! (expect more posts more often)

Wow it has been to long since I have last posted, I apologize, I have been EXTREMELY busy lately. I have summer camp starting the 22nd of this month and ending the 29th. In my spare time(if I have any), I will try to write down some things and post them when I get back!

I have been busy lately, that is why I haven't posted for a few days! Now, back to other buisness, I promised to go over some of the genres. To start off you have the basic genres of music: metal, rock, country, classical, bluegrass, jazz, hip hop and R&B, gospel, reggae, and opera. There are many more, although these are some of the most common. I am tired and have a long weekend ahead of me, so I must leave you until tommorow night or the day after. (my posts tend to be longer but I have had a lot going on lately so sorry).

To Start off!

Hey everyone, in my first post I would like to discuss some of the things I will be going over in the future! First off, I will go over the some of the genres of music, some of the sub genres, and then recommend some bands. I will also state some basic and simple ways to find the type of music you like. For the people that already know the type of music that you like I would appreciate the names of some bands that you like so that I can include them in the list.
